SENIOR COACH
We are seeking an individual that loves this sport, and most importantly, the people in it, to join our team as a Senior Coach. This is a diverse leadership role that includes lesson planning, class management, staff training and hands-on coaching.
We operate with a people first philosophy that prioritises the health and growth of our athletes and community. Our Head Coach, Linda Dreaver, has over 30 years of experience in the sport with a proven track record of cultivating nurturing environments where high performing athletes thrive. You will be working closely with Linda to lead our recreational program and team in line with our vision.
We prioritise the ongoing development of our coaches and offer development and training opportunities to ensure continuous growth and success in your coaching career.
Requirements for this position:
- Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership (can be obtained if successful)
- WAG Intermediate Accreditation or equivalent
- Valid Working With Children Check
This permanent position is 30 hours per week working a combination of mornings, afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Flexibility in hours will be considered for the right applicant.
Horizon Gymnastics Club is under the Fitness Industry Award and pay rate will be determined by experience and accreditation.

kindergym coach
We are seeking a KinderGym Coach to join our team. You are passionate about movement and child development, and wish to join us in leading a community of engaged parents positively shaping their child’s future.
A background in movement and experience with child development is desirable with no experience in gymnastics required. On the job training will be provided to support you in completing the Fundamentals Gymnastics Coach Accreditation (Gymnastics Australia).
Other requirements:
- Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership (can be obtained if successful)
- Valid Working With Children Check
This is a part time coaching role working mornings and up to 3 days a week (5 - 7.5 hours/week)
We offer ongoing coach development and training. This role has the potential for evolution including leading our KinderGym program in 2025 and coaching opportunities in our afternoon recreational program if desired.
Horizon Gymnastics Club is under the Fitness Industry Award and pay rate will be determined by experience and accreditations ($30 - $35/hour).
